Livable Streets wants your help, Dot! They have a new survey about Columbia Road they want you to take in the hopes of creating a neighborhood-friendly street and green connection between Franklin Park and Moakley Park!
See message below from Livable Streets:
Redesigning Columbia Road was designated as a Go Boston 2030 priority project in 2015, with the goal of creating a neighborhood-friendly street and green connection between two major parks. Both Franklin and Moakley Parks are currently undergoing visioning plans and improvements, but progress for Columbia Road has been fragmentary, lacking any collective vision.
We’re continuing to help build momentum locally by meeting with various civic associations, neighborhood associations, and community centers along the corridor to get community voice on what people want to see. We will be working with the community over the coming year to focus on collecting voices and perspectives along Columbia Road, which we will share with the City of Boston to help inform decisions about making the corridor safer for all modes.
Your input can help to inform the conversations about a vision for redesigning Columbia Road. If you live, work, or travel on Columbia Road, please take our Columbia Road Survey today.
