On Tuesday, May 27, 2025, members of the C-11 (Dorchester) Drug Control Unit arrested 44-year-old Bodio Hutchinson of Boston for multiple drug offenses following a targeted enforcement operation in Dorchester.
At approximately 12:30 PM, officers conducted a drug interdiction operation in response to community complaints about open drug use and distribution occurring near 6 Lyndhurst Street. Surveillance teams observed individuals loitering in front of the address and witnessed behavior consistent with street-level drug transactions.
An undercover officer was provided with documented buy money and directed to approach the suspect. After a brief interaction, the officer returned with a plastic bag containing what was believed to be crack cocaine.
Following the transaction, officers approached Hutchinson and placed him under arrest without incident. A plastic bag containing four smaller baggies of crack cocaine was located next to where he had been sitting, along with his personal belongings. During a subsequent search, officers recovered an additional 26 baggies from the suspect’s back pocket, as well as a medium-sized plastic bag of crack cocaine concealed inside a cigarette box. Officers also seized an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency, which included the previously marked buy money.

In total, 30 small bags and one medium bag of crack cocaine were recovered, weighing approximately 16 grams.
Hutchinson was placed under arrest and is expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court for the following charges:
- Distribution of Class B (Crack Cocaine)
- Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B
- Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B (Subsequent Offense)
