Raise your glass
Back in June we reported that Kathleen Baker, owner of the Sugar Bowl was hoping to get a liquor license for the ice cream and sandwich shop located at 857 Dorchester Ave. Well, according to a series of Instagram posts of cocktails – the license has been granted!
“Our Sugar Bowl espresso….but add a little spice…
Please join us @sugarbowlcafeboston as we serve our first ever Sugar Bowl Espresso Martini THIS Tuesday!!!”
It seems the demographics of this neighborhood has shifted and there aren’t as many families with kids looking for ice cream. Baker’s goal is to transform the Sugar Bowl into more of a sandwich and high end dessert spot that serves cocktails!
You can check out their menu below:
Current Hours – Tuesday – Friday 7am-1pm and Saturday 9am-3pm. Starting the weekend of September 11th the Sugar Bowl will also be open on Saturday and Sunday from 9am-3pm for brunch.
