The following sign was spotted on Park Street where the Ashmont Red Line passes underneath between Fields Corner and Shawmut.
“Hey, Dorchester! Quit F**King Littering” is the main message of the sign with the insert “It’s Not That F**king Hard!”
At the bottom of the sign it reads – “No paid for by the City of Boston.”
Well, we found out who created the sign – and yes, they were so fed up with the situation, they took it into their own hands to remind neighbors to stop littering! It’s none other than Dorchester’s Own Renovation Husbands! This dynamic duo is made up of Stephen and David St. Russell, a husband-husband design and DIY team who recently won HGTV’s latest design competition series – Battle on the Mountain!
So let’s do better! Don’t litter! Pick up your trash! Also, give the Renovations Husbands a follow on Instagram too – it’s a great account!
Special thank you to Marcus Hamblin on Instagram for sending us these photos!

How do we get some. We need them.
I would like to purchase a sign for my home in Mattapan. Please and thank you. Over it.
Gotta say, I agree with that sentiment. But when I say anything, people tell me to go back to Somerville?
Yes! A simple education campaign and demonstrating that we care seems to have an effect over here at Ashmont.
It’s the same here in Roxbury but, it’s every neighborhood all over the city. Been like this forever.
