Virtual Workouts
Boston Parks Department is offering FREE virtual workouts! From yoga to bootcamp, each class is taught by a certified instructors and sponsored by Boston Parks and Recreation, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, and the Boston Public Health Commission. You can learn more here.
Support Local Business
There are still so many businesses that are open, providing take-out or merchandise that directly supports them and their staff. Make a point of ordering take-out or shop local this Saturday! Check out our list of restaurants open for takeout if you need any ideas! Some restaurants are featuring Dot Day specials!
Dorchester Pride
Invest in some local merchandise and represent your neighborhood! Many local restaurants have merchandise for sale on their websites, check out Custom Hype, The Bowery Bar, Lucy’s American Tavern and Dorchester Brewing for some ideas!
Eat some breakfast
Ripple Cafe is open (and practicing safety guidelines) so stop by this weekend and pick up one of their delicious egg sandwiches and a coffee! Mon-Fri 7am-3pm // Sat 8am-3pm. They also offer takeout via grub hub too. You can see their menu here!
Get Outside
Pick up some take-out from your favorite local spot and head to your favorite spot for a picnic (staying 6 feet away from others of course!) Take a walk along the Neponset River Trail or spend some time at Malibu or Tenean Beach for some fresh air. Don’t forget your mask!
Fish Cakes
The Eire Pub will be open 11:30 to 6 for takeout, curbside pickup & delivery. On Friday, they are featuring delicious homemade fish cakes! The sandwich is $7, and the Double Fish Cake entree with $11. You can see the full menu at http://eirepub.com and call in your order 617-436-0088.
