At about 9:10 PM, on Sunday, November 6, 2022, officers assigned to District B-3 (Mattapan/Dorchester), responded to a radio call for two people shot in the area of 10 Orlando St., Mattapan. On arrival officers located two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported, by Boston EMS, to a local hospital, where one adult male victim was pronounced. The second victim’s injuries are considered non-life-threatening.

At about 9:40 PM, officers assigned to District B-3 responded to a shot spotter activation at 92 Westview Street in Dorchester.  On arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. This victim was transported to a local hospital where his injuries are considered life-threatening.

The Boston Police Department is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding both of these incidents. Anyone with information is strongly urged to contact Boston Police Homicide Detectives at (617) 343-4470.

At 9:45 PM, officers assigned to District E-18 (Hyde Park) responded to a report of a person shot at 1 Rosa Street in Hyde Park.  On arrival, Officers located an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. This victim was transported to a local hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

At 10:02 PM, Boston Police Officers responded to a local hospital on a report of two adult males that self-applied to the Emergency Department suffering from gunshot wounds.  Both victims injuries are considered non-life threatening. Preliminary investigations indicate the two victims that self-applied were victims from the Rosa Street incident.

The Boston Police Department is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding the Rosa Street shootings. Anyone with information is strongly urged to contact Boston Police E-18 Detectives at (617) 343-5600.
