On Saturday, November 23, 2024, at approximately 12:30 PM, officers from the District E-5 and District A-7 Drug Control Units executed a search warrant at 119 Wrentham Street in Dorchester as part of an ongoing drug investigation.
The operation resulted in the seizure of a substantial amount of fentanyl, crack cocaine, and an undisclosed sum of U.S. currency. Following the search, 33-year-old Cleifit Cruz of Dorchester was arrested on multiple drug-related charges.
Cruz is expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court on the following charges:
- Trafficking a Class A Substance (Fentanyl)
- Possession with Intent to Distribute a Class B Substance (Crack Cocaine)
