A woman who was struck by lightning last month and recovering in the hospital was reunited with her dog this week.
According to Fox 25 Boston, Thalita Teixeira Padilla, a traveling nurse, got a visit from her dog Bruce. Padilla was walking Bruce when she was struck by lightning near Savin Hill Beach. Luckily, neighbors rushed to Padilla and performed life-saving CPR but unfortunately, Bruce ran away in all the commotion.
A stranger found Bruce that night and brought him back to his family. This was the first time Padilla had seen him since that frightening day.
A GoFundMe page has been started for Padilla by her cousin. You can check it out here.
