If you were one social media on Tuesday morning, you saw the frustration of MBTA commuters in real time. The Red Line was an absolute disaster thanks to a derailed train at Ashmont. Shuttle buses were replacing service in both directions between Ashmont and JFK/UMass.
Needless to say, riders were upset.
And in case you missed it, the MBTA is trying to encourage polite behavior with new courtesy announcements.
