Pierogis, Polka, and celebrating Polish culture and history in Dorchester’s Polish Triangle

On Sunday, May 5, from 12-6pm, Dorchester, the Polish American Citizens Club, and the Polish American Heritage and Community Foundation (PAHCF) will be hosting Polish Fest Boston 2019.  This family-friendly annual event allows people from all over the greater Boston area to enjoy the warm hospitality of the Polish community. The event will also raise money to establish PAHCF’s scholarship fund.  The event will take place in and around the Polish Club and the street in front of the club will be closed to traffic, starting at 12pm.

Vendors will include delicious Polish food from DJ’s Market, including their famous Polish donuts (paczki), Jaju Pierogi, Euromart, and new vendors, Spoko Polish Street Food and Wildfox Pierogi. DJ Kaz, a favorite in Boston’s Polish community will be spinning the hottest Polish and English hits and the Krakowiak Polish DancersDaigle’s Beer Hall Boys Polka Band and Polish pop music group Vademecum will be providing entertainment in the Polish Club’s upstairs hall. Full schedule is below.

Event organizers want to continue to grow Polish Fest Boston, both in terms of sponsorship, attendance and community engagement and one day hope that Polish Fest Boston will be as big as the festivals in the North End with thousands coming from all over to enjoy the day in the Dorchester and the Polish Triangle.
