BFD and Boston EMS were called to 428 Blue Hill Ave. on Friday night after a person fell through the sidewalk leading to the entryway to Bethlehem Healing Temple Church.
The Boston Fire Department said the person fell approximately 10 feet when the threshold of the building collapsed – described as a hollow sidewalk leading into the building.
Firefighters were able to extricate the person who fell through and Boston EMS transported the victim to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
