The state announced a series of targeted measures to disrupt the increasing trend of new #covid19 cases and hospitalizations. State data has indicated that cases are up by 278 percent and hospitalizations up by 145 percent since Labor Day.
All orders and advisories will be effective Friday, November 6th.
A revised stay-at-home advisory now instructs residents to stay home between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. The advisory allows for activities such as going to work, running critical errands to get groceries and address health needs, and taking a walk.
A new state order requires the early closure of certain businesses and activities each night at 9:30 p.m., including:
restaurants
liquor stores and other retail establishments
gyms, and
indoor and outdoor events.
A revised face-coverings order requires all persons to wear face coverings in all public places, even where they are able to maintain six feet of distance from others.
And there’s an updated order restricting gatherings:
Indoor gatherings at private residences limited to 10 people
Outdoor gatherings at private residences limited to 25 people
Be safe out there and please wear a mask!
