Universal Hub is reporting that developer and restauranteur Joey Arcari would like to open a 255-seat restaurant serving American fare on the ground level of the new building he developed at 1121 Dot Ave. He plans on calling this new restaurant, The Dorchester.
According to Acari’s attorney Ryan Spitz, if Acari gets approval from the City of Boston Licensing Board, he will purchase the liquor license from the owners of Tavitas in the South Station neighborhood.
The Dorchester would be open from 11am to 1am during the week and 9am until 1am on weekends.
Acari also owns The Broadway and The Playwright in Southie.
