Back on May 30th, after the Celtics lost game 7, a commuter was trying to catch the Green Line bound for Medford/Tufts around 12:18 a.m., but the doors closed before he could get on. The man kicked the moving train and ended up falling to his death.
Well, MBTA transit police stated that the victim lost a gold chain that landed on the platform but was “recovered” by another man. On Wednesday, the MBTA posted video and still images of a man they’re hoping to locate in regard to the missing gold chain.
MBTA released the following via statement:
“The victim’s gold chain was ‘recovered’ from the platform after the incident. “The family desperately would like the item returned” It was also stated that “this chain also has strong sentimental value to those who loved the victim.”
