The deadline to apply to participate in the 2019 Little & Young Miss Dorchester contest is Wednesday, May 15th. The contest takes place on Saturday, May 18th.
These are the conditions to apply:
The participants must be residents of Dorchester;
Able to participate in the Dorchester Day Parade (June 2nd, 2019);
Able to provide a copy of their birth certificate if they win or are a runner-up;
They must write a response to a question made by the organizers (depending on the category, Little Miss and Young Miss get different subjects), and be capable of reciting it the day of the contest;
Little Miss Contestants must be 7-9 years old on the day of the competition;
Young Miss Contestants must be 10-12 years old on the day of the contest.
