A Hero Square Dedication will take place on Sunday, October 6th at 11:30am at Kane and Bellevue St. in Dorchester for Victor M. Gemelli.
Victor M. Gemelli United States Army 17 March 1905 – 21 October 1944 Victor M. Gemelli was born on March 17, 1905 in Boston MA. As a resident of Dorchester. Victor was inducted into the United States Army on February 20, 1941 and began active duty that same day, Victor served as a Sergeant with the Army. On October 21, 1944 Victor Gemelli was killed in action in Germany. For the heroism displayed in his service to our country, Victor was awarded the American Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal, and the Purple Heart. Victor was survived by his parents John and Angeline Gemelli who were residents of Dorchester.
