Earlier this week – BPD reported executing a search warrant at 286 Columbia Road and making an on-site arrest of Edmilson Andrade, 32, of Dorchester. Andrade was charged with Trafficking a Class A Substance (Fentanyl), Unlawful possession of ammunition, and Possession of ammunition.
The Boston Globe is reporting that in addition to drugs, police found hundreds of rounds of ammunition, a 3D printer and evidence of a “ghost-gun” making operation.
From the Globe:
“They found drugs, but they also found a full-scale residential ghost gun mill,” said District Attorney Kevin R. Hayden during an afternoon briefing. “These composite guns were being made for one reason only: to be sold on the streets.”
