Early Wednesday morning, BFD responded to a call for a fire on Dever Street. Upon arrival, fire was visible on the first and second floors of the home.
According to Boston Fire, the fire could have been worse due to the fact a hydrant was blocked by a truck parking in front of it. Firefighters were forced to use a hydrant from an adjacent street.
BPD did ticket the truck. No injuries were reported. Three residents have been displaced and damages are estimated at $250,000.
