On Sunday morning around 12:05 a.m., BFD responded to a call for a fire at 147 Draper Street in Dorchester. Upon arrival, heavy fire was showing on the first and second floors of the multi-family home. A second alarm was ordered.
Firefighter quickly knocked down the fire and stopped it from spreading to neighboring homes. Six people have been displaced and damages are estimated at $350,000.
Boston Fire is investigating the cause of the fire.
