At about 6:00 AM, on Saturday, November 4, 2023, members of the Fugitive Unit arrested Alyssa Partsch, 30, of Dorchester, in the area of 25 Wainwright Street. At the time of the arrest, the suspect was wanted on a warrant for murder issued out of Suffolk Superior Court for the death of Jazreanna Sheppard, 21, of South Boston. The suspect is expected to be arraigned in Suffolk Superior Court.

The facts and circumstances surrounding the original incident are as follows: At about 11:34 PM, on Thursday, July 20, 2023, officers assigned to District A-1 (Downtown) responded to the area of 121 Tremont Street for a person stabbed. Upon arrival, officers located an adult female suffering from stab wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries. The victim was later pronounced deceased. The victim has since been identified as Jazreanna Sheppard, 21, of South Boston.

The Boston Police Department is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is strongly urged to contact Boston Police Homicide Detectives at (617) 343-4470.
