Due to high bacteria levels, the DCR has closed the beaches in Dorchester for swimming. As of July 20th, the updated state list of closed beaches includes the three in Dorchester.
Exposure to high levels of bacteria can cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal pain. And no one wants to experience that, right?

Tenean Beach is permanently closed due to the bacteria coming from storm water and dogs at Victory Road Park. Boston Water and Sewer needs to fix pipes. DCR needs to stop illegal dog park in an ACEC!
