A BPD officer and a civilian were hurt after a dog attack in Dorchester. The dog was shot and killed.
According to NBC10, police responded to a call on Dakota Street around 8:30 p.m. Monday, and when they got there, they couldn’t get the dog under control and had to shoot it. The dog later died.
The officer and the dog bite victim were both taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Animal Control was notified of the incident, and the Boston police are investigating the incident.
