Due to the potential high tides and minor coastal flooding forecasted, the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) is preparing for potential lane and/or road closures to occur along Morrissey Boulevard (both directions) from Freeport Street to UMass Boston in the City of Boston starting Tuesday, September 17, 2024, and continuing through Sunday, September 22, 2024.
Anticipated high tide times are as follows:
Tuesday, September 17, 2024, 11:22 p.m.
Thursday, September 19, 2024, 12:14 a.m.
Thursday, September 19, 2024, 12:38 p.m.
Friday, September 20, 2024, 1:05 a.m.
Friday, September 20, 2024, 1:26 p.m.
Saturday, September 21, 2024, 2:16 p.m.
Sunday, September 22, 2024, 3:07 p.m.
Traffic patterns will be clearly marked, and DCR operations staff will be on site. A police detail may be on site as needed if the off ramp from Interstate 93 requires closure.
