Now here’s something you don’t see everyday in Dorchester
A bald eagle was spotted in Neponset on Friday morning. Yes, it’s a little unusual to see the majestic in the city but they have been seen before. This one was chilling high on top of a tree, keeping watch. According to MassWildlife, Massachusetts has a thriving bald eagle population so it’s not uncommon to see one in Boston.
CID reader Brian Smith sent along this photo after our sister site was reporting on the #SouthieCoyote in Moakley Park.
Dorchester is no stranger to wildlife. We also have coyotes, turkeys, seals and more! So you never know what you might see, so keep those eyes open and your head on a swivel!
