At about 10:30 AM, on Monday, July 31, 2023, officers assigned to District D-4 (South End) located Cristofanes “Christopher” Mendes in the area of Massachusetts Avenue and Chesterton Street in Roxbury. He was placed under arrest without incident and is expected to be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court.
Circumstances Surrounding the Arrest are as follows; The Boston Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Cristofanes Mendes, 33, of Boston. Mendes is wanted for Reckless Endangerment of a Child, Larceny of a Motor Vehicle, and Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in relation to a Kidnapping incident that occurred on Friday, July 14, 2023, at Geneva Avenue and Leroy Street in Dorchester.
