On Monday, BPD arrested a Dorchester man after an incident in which officers were called to a home on Mercier Ave. by a caller saying that a man with a gun was inside. The call came in around 10:45 a.m.
Ermelisio Mendes-Daveiga, 28, is set to be arraigned in the Dorchester District Court Tuesday on a charge of assault by means of a dangerous weapon.
