UPDATE: The Boston Police Department is cancelling the missing person’s alert for 38-year-old Alenny Matos issued on February 11, 2020. Sadly, a body was recently located, on Saturday, May 9, 2020, in a wooded area in the area of the Enneking Parkway in Hyde Park. The remains of which have been identified as those of Ms. Matos. An autopsy, conducted to determine the cause and manner of death, is undetermined by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner’s Office.
Anyone with information on the disappearance or death of Alenny Matos is advised to contact Homicide Detectives at 617-343-4470.
Community members who feel more comfortable assisting this investigation anonymously can do so by calling the CrimeStoppers Tip Line at 1 (800) 494-TIPS or by texting the word ‘TIP’ to CRIME (27463). The Boston Police Department will stringently guard and protect the identities of all those who wish to assist any investigation in an anonymous manner.

The Boston Police Department has issued a missing person’s alert and is seeking the public’s help in efforts to locate 38-year-old Alenny Matos who was last seen at about 7:30pm, on Saturday, January 25, 2020, in the area of 79 Spencer Street in Dorchester. At the time of her disappearance, it is believed that Ms. Matos was on her way to 21 Bullard Street but never made it to that destination. Ms. Matos is described as a white-Hispanic female, 5’5” in height, with a medium build, black hair and scars around both of her eyes. There is no clothing description to share at this time.
