Now here’s something you don’t see every day in Dot
A bald eagle was spotted in Savin Hill on Savin Hill Ave. on Saturday. Yes, it’s a little unusual to see the majestic bird in the city, but they have been seen before. This one was chilling high on top of a tree, keeping watch.
According to MassWildlife, Massachusetts has a thriving bald eagle population, so it’s not uncommon to see one in Boston.
Dorchester is no stranger to wildlife. We also have coyotes, turkeys, seals and more! So you never know what you might see, so keep those eyes open and your head on a swivel!
Check out the video of the eagle here!

Oh… 😯Wow
I never knew Dorchester had all those different types of animals. A bald eagle. Coyotes. Etc
I love Dorchester. 💛
Thanks for posting 🥰
I saw one lurking on one of the houses right on Geneva Ave. We see Hawks all the time. I’ve seen an owl once. Them Turkey’s is a gang!
