A teenager was found unconscious on Gallivan Boulevard near Nevada Street late Friday night.  According to Massachusetts State Police the teen was robbed by two suspects in a car.  During the incident, the victim who was on foot, had his arm trapped in the car door window after one of the suspects closed it on him.  The suspects then drove off at a high rate of speed dragging him several blocks.

Both men involved in the robbery, Kenneth Ford, 23, of Roxbury and Dejon Barnes, 18, of Dorchester were arrested by State police with assistance from Boston police early Sunday morning.  The victim sustained life threatening injuries.

From the state police report:

Evidence collected during the investigation indicates that the two suspects were in a vehicle late Friday night and met the 18-year-old victim on Gallivan Boulevard in Dorchester. The investigation indicates the supposed purpose of the meeting was to purchase a smart phone from the victim.

During the interaction between the two men in the car and the victim, who was on foot, the suspects hooked the victim’s arm in the car by closing the car window on the arm, and then drove off at a high rate of speed, dragging the victim alongside the moving car for several city blocks.
