Dorchester Development News: Three Two-Family Homes Approved for Cedar Grove

A new housing development is moving forward in the Cedar Grove neighborhood.
According to Universal Hub, the Boston Zoning Board of Appeal approved plans for three two-family homes on a cemetery-owned parcel at the corner of Milton Street and Granite Street. The project, proposed by local builder Sean George in partnership with Cedar Grove Cemetery, will create three 2-family homes on roughly one-third of an acre.
The homes will be clustered around a shared driveway with 12 parking spaces, which was the primary concern raised by neighbors during the meeting. Despite those concerns, the board voted to approve the project.

Both the Cedar Grove Civic Association and City Councilor John FitzGerald supported the proposal.
