The Boston Parks Department will host its first walk is Monday September 19th at 10 a.m. in Sherrin Woods.  Meet at Austin Street and Windham Road.  You can learn more here. 

Open Street Boston – Dorchester Avenue

Enjoy open streets on Saturday, September 24th from 9am-3pm.  Open Streets Boston is a collection of free, family-friendly events. During these events, the City will close major thoroughfares to motor traffic, opening them for pedestrian use including: walking, rolling, biking and connection with neighbors and local businesses. 

Fresh Food Generation Paint + Party 

Join Fresh Food Generation on Friday September 23rd from 3pm-6pm for a back to school event that your kids will love! Paint & Party is free and open to the public. @whysham617 will be curating the sound, @modernpartyart@trill.fit is teaching a dance class and FFG is providing free food. They’ll also be collecting school supplies to donate to a local school!

Venture out of the neighborhood and pick yourself a bushel and peck of farm fresh apples. Make sure to check check all orchard’s websites for up to date safety info, restrictions etc. Some require reservations so double check before you head out!
