MBTA Bus Network Redesign Meeting

Bus Listen up, MBTA bus commuters! Back in May, the MBTA released a draft map of changes. The MBTA will host a virtual public meeting on Wednesday, November 2, at 6 PM to discuss the Bus Network Redesign Program.  The meeting will be held virtually via Zoom. The meeting will be recorded and posted online for those who cannot attend.

Register to Participate in the Half-Way to Dot Day 5K

Register to run the Dorchester Running Club’s Half-Way to Dot Day 5K on Saturday, December 10th at 9am! This is a family-friendly run for all ages and abilities along the paths of DCR’s Pope John Paul Park in Dorchester and is certified and sanctioned by USA Track and Field – New England. All youth under 12 who donate a toy for our toy drive are registered at no cost. Registration for adults and teenagers is just $25. You can register here!

Live Irish Session at Lower Mills Tavern

Enjoy live Irish music every Tuesday night at the Lower Mills Tavern. Irish Session takes place from 8pm-10pm. No cover. Musicians welcome. The kitchen is open late!

Early voting

The early voting period for the 2022 Municipal Election ends Friday, November 4. During that time, voters registered in Boston will be able to cast their ballots in person before the Municipal Election on Tuesday, November 8. Any voter registered in Boston can vote at any early voting location. You don’t need an excuse or reason to vote early. You can get the full details here!
