Vote Early

The Municipal Election in the City of Boston takes place on Nov. 2 but you can vote early! The early voting period takes place Saturday, October 23, through Friday, October 29. During that time, voters registered in Boston will be able to cast their ballots in person before the Municipal Election on Tuesday, November 2. Here’s where you can vote early!  You’ll be voting for Mayor of Boston and City Councilor-At-Large. 

Halloween Fun

Wear your Halloween costume and bring a carved pumpkin to the Pumpkin Parade on the Neponset River Greenway Trail at Pope John Paul Park on Hallet Street in Dorchester! Enjoy music, candy and the pumpkin patch! The fun takes place on Thursday, October 28th at 5:30pm. Your costume or pumpkin will allow you to enter a raffle for a DCR annual parking pass, a pumpkin full of candy, and more! Candles will be provided for the pumpkins – no pre-registration require!

50Kitchen is now offering special family style meals for pick up or delivery  From sliders to chicken and waffles, 50Kitchen is offering these homemade meals Thursday through Sunday. Same day orders must be place by 4pm.  You can see the full menu here!

Snack bar + Skate sharpening open at Devine Rink

After being closed last season, Dorchester Youth Hockey Snack Bar is now open! Stop by the Devine Rink for a variety of snacks drinks, skate sharpening, tape, laces, mouthpieces and more!  Learn to Skate and Public Skating will be kicking off in November! Stay tuned for details!
