5 Things You Should Know This Week – November 8th

The Return of the Yurts

The Bowery Bar has announced the adorable outdoor winter village on their patio is back for another season.  Get cozy inside one of their three yurts – complete with outdoor heaters, blankets and furry seats on both low top and high top seating! Bookings are now live on their website!  Each yurt holds about 8 people and are available lunch, brunch and dinner!  Winter attire is encouraged.

Veterans Day Care Package Drive in the Neighborhood

The BCYF Leahy Holloran Community City is hosting a Veterans Day Care Package Drive through November 13th at all GNFFL games! Suggested items include granola bars, trail mis, fruit snacks, candy, playing cards, deodorant + more.  You can see a full list here! You can also nominate a service member to receive a care package too!

Holiday Cookie Preview at Top Shelf Cookies

Our friends at Top Shelf Cookies are hosting a special Holiday Cookie Preview where you get to taste all of the holiday flavors and see some holiday gift ideas! The delicious fun takes place on Sunday November 14th from 4pm-6pm.

Laugh at City Hall

Laugh Boston + the Improv Asylum will be on the Patio at City Hall through Friday, November 12th. There will be beer on tap plus FREE live entertainment!  You can learn more here!
