Thanksgiving Yoga at Open Doors Dorchester

Open Doors Dorchester is hosting three yoga classes on Thanksgiving morning: 6 a.m. Yoga Sculpt with Abby, 8:30 a.m. Hot Power Flow with Ashley, and 10 a.m. Hot Power Flow with Susan. Reserv spot here. 

Franklin Park Turkey Trot

Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 24, 2024 from 9-10am. Come for a fun 5K, chip-timed, run or walk to start your holiday. Bring family and friends. Starts at the Franklin Park Golf Clubhouse, One Circuit Drive, Dorchester, MA 02121. $35 for adults, $18 for under 18, and free for 5 and under. Last Call for the Ice Creamsmith

The Ice Creamsmith will be open from 12-9 pm through Wednesday this week so you can stock up for the winter. Don’t forget you can call ahead and reserve your favorite flavors to guarantee you don’t miss out.  Thursday is the last day of the 2024 season with hours 10am-1pm.

Neighborhood Tree Lightings + Holiday Market

On Saturday, November 30th from 3pm-8pm The Greater Ashmont Main Streets will host a festive Holiday Marketing.  Tree lighting will take place on Ashmont Plaza at 6:45pm. After-Party at Tavolo from 8pm-10pm.

The Upham’s Corner Tree Lighting will take place on Saturday, November 30th from 4pm-6pm in front of the Stand Theater. There will be live entertainment, delicious food from the neighborhood, free goody bags!
