Take a Field Trip: The South Boston Street Fest is Saturday
One of our favorite Southie days of the year is back! The South Boston Street Fest takes over East Broadway between I and L streets on Saturday, September 19th. Expect more than 100 local businesses, artists, and organizations, plus live entertainment, food, shopping, kids’ activities, and plenty of neighborhood fun. And make sure you stop by and say hello to us at the Caught in Southie booth! We will be giving away lots of fun stuff, plus selling a limited-edition Southie baseball cap and Caught in Southie totes

Calling all history buffs! On Sunday, from 11am-3 pm, not one but two historic homes will be open for tours – the William Clapp House and the James Blake House! Get all the details here!

Free Fitness, Get Moving!
The Boston Parks and Recreation Department and Boston Public Health Commission (BPHC) today announced the 2026 Boston Parks Fall Fitness Series, sponsored by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts. The series will offer free weekly classes in City of Boston parks from September 13 through October 17, 2026. Check out the schedule here.
