Get your hot pants and sequins ready! To the younger generation – disco was a thing and the Queen of Disco was none other than Dorchester’s own Donna Summer. To pay tribute to her, the City of Boston is honoring her once again with the annual “A Celebration of Summer: The Donna Summer Memorial Disco Party” on Thursday, June 24th from 6pm-9pm at Copley Square. The Return of the Frog Pond Spray Pool
The Boston Common Frog Pond spray pool reopens on Thursday, June 24 and the day will include a fun and exciting celebration at 11 a.m. followed by the opening of the spray pool. In addition to activities from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. residents can enjoy tasty Hood Ice Cream Sandwiches provided by in-kind sponsor HP Hood LLC and a Mobile Dairy Bar provided by the New England Dairy Council. Limited giveaways while supplies last. The celebration will feature a special visit from the official mascot Frog Pond Freddie. Skate Fit Boston Fitness Boot Camp
