Elma Lewis Playhouse in the Park 

On Tuesdays through August 10th from 6pm-dusk enjoy live music at the Playhouse. Bring a lawn chair, a picnic supper, and all your friends! Featuring local R&B, Motown, Jazz, and Reggae bands. Shows for summer camps and families on Tuesdays at 11am. The Playhouse stage is next to the big Playstead field on your way to the Zoo’s Giraffe entrance. Coffee with the Mayor

Mayor Kim Janey and the Boston Parks and Recreation Department will host the 2021 Neighborhood Coffee Hour Series, in collaboration with Dunkin’, in local parks citywide from July 30 to August 27. She’s coming to Mother’s Rest at Four Corners on Friday, July 30th from 10:30am-11:30am. It’s a great opportunity to speak directly with the mayor and staff. Participants will enjoy Dunkin’ Iced Coffee and assorted MUNCHKINS® donut hole treats provided by Dunkin’. Fresh fruit will be provided by Star Market. In addition, each family in attendance will receive a free flowering plant provided by the Boston Parks and Recreation Department, while supplies last. Residents at the event will also be eligible to win a raffle prize from Dunkin’, including Dunkin’ swag and gift cards!

We Sing Dorchester

Enjoy a community singing event for families of all ages and skill levels! There will be singing, games, prizes, and socializing! This fun event takes place on Tuesday, July 25th from 2pm-3:30pm at Town Field – 1565 Dorchester Ave. This event is brought to you by Friends of Public Garden and Boston Children’s Chorus!  You can learn more by visiting here!
