Recycling Christmas Trees

Give that Christmas Tree a second life! The City of Boston will be collecting them for the first two full weeks in January! Place trees at the curb by 6am on trash day. No decorations, bags, stands or lights on the tree. The tree will be shredded up to be used as compost. The compost will be distributed in various Boston parks to help new things grow!

Get crafty!

Learn how to use that sewing machine collecting dust in your basement or knit that sweater you’ve been dreaming about.  The Stitch House is not only a fully stocked yarn shop, but it also offers classes for all the fiber arts including crochet, sewing, and quilting.  The Stitch House staff of expert instructors, are not only talented but are patient and hands-on.   For a full list of classes including Friday, night socials visit here!

Get a Flu Shot

The is a flu warning in the City of Boston due to a rapid rise in cases. The Boston Public Health Commission is hosting a series of flu shot clinics.  You can learn more here!
