City of Boston Credit Union Winter Clothing Drive
For the month of January, the City of Boston Credit Union will be collecting donations of blankets, winter clothing, and pajamas for local children in collaboration with the Cooperative Credit Union Association.
Year of the Cat – Boston Little Saigon Tết Celebration
Celebrate the Lunar New Year at with Boston Little Saigon Tết Celebration at the Fields Corner Library on Tuesday, January 17th from 4pm-6pm. There will be lots of food, arts & crafts, music, and a take-home Tết decoration! You can learn more here.
Bonsai Bar at Dorchester Brewing
Learn the art of bonsai during this two-hour class and lets you create your very own bonsai tree on Tuesday at 7pm! Every attendee will be able to select their own tropical bonsai tree and pot and be provided with the tools to prune, pot, and design the tree under the instruction of a bonsai expert. Come early to get a drink in the Tap Room or grab something to eat at M&M BBQ before you get started or feel free to order food & drinks while you create your masterpiece! Tickets are $75 and can be purchased here!
Wellness Retreat at Connected Through Strength

Dorchester Bay City Community Meeting
The Boston Planning and Development Agency will host a community meeting on Wednesday, January 18th at 6pm. This is a meeting of the Morrissey Boulevard Community Advisory Committee (CAC) to review the proposed Dorchester Bay City Planned Development Area (PDA). Members of the public are welcome to attend. The meeting will begin with a presentation of the project by the development team, followed by Q&A from the members of the CAC, followed by public Q&A if time allows.
