Be informed! Boston Main Streets will host a Mayoral Forum on Tuesday, August 10th from 5pm-7pm at the Blair Municipal Lot at 1127 Harrison Ave. in Roxbury. Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Pope John Paul II Playground
A special ribbon cutting ceremony for Pope John Paul II Playground on Thursday, August 12th at 2:30pm presented by the Department of Conservation and Recreation.
Charity Cocktail at The Bowery Bar
Raise your glass! Order an Island Time – made with Silver rum | blue curaçao | pineapple | lime | coconut | cava float from the Bowery Bar and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Leahy Holloran Community Center!
Boston Little Saigon Yard Sale + Cookout
A community yard sale will take place on Saturday, August 14th from 10am-3pm at Town Field Park – 1565 Dorchester Ave. All proceeds will go back to the community for future events and programming. You can donate items by dropping them off at the event or by contacting the Boston Little Saigon Culture District directly to schedule a drop off prior to the event! At 12pm – 4pm there will be a neighborhood cookout! Activities include live music, volleyball, soccer and chess. Children will enjoy face painting and a variety of games. Hosted by the Vietnamese American Community of MA, C-11 Police, All Dorchester Sports and Leadership, and Boston Little Saigon.

Dine Out Boston returns August 8th-21st. Enjoy lunch for $15, $20, $25 and dinner for $28,$33 and $38 Participating restaurants offer prix fixe menus for lunch and dinner. Each participating restaurant selects one of the three price options. There are a few restaurants in the the neighborhood participating – you can check them out here!
