The Return of Street Cleaning – No Fooling

It’s that time of year again! Birds are chirping. It’s staying light out later, and the big yellow street sweeper will be cleaning your neighborhood streets on April 1st.  So be warned, parking restrictions associated with street cleaning begin this week.  A schedule and information is available here! 

Happy 1st Birthday, Via Cannuccia

Help Via Cannuccia celebrate one year of business in the neighborhood! The anniversary celebration will take place on April 9th from 5pm-9pm! Tickets are $35 per person, which includes an antipasti buffet and Chef Stefano and his team’s creations. Limited seating is available!  Register here! 

Register for the Dot Day 5K

Register for the Dot Day 5k Road Race on Sunday June 2nd at 12pm! This is a family friendly run for all ages and abilities that begins and ends at the Blarney Stone restaurant just before the annual Dot Day Parade! Registration for adults and teenagers 12+ is just $30 if you sign up in advance. Registration for youth 11 and under is $15. (Same-day registration is $35 for 12+ and $20 for kids!) The Dot Day 5k begins and ends at the Blarney Stone (1505 Dot Ave) and is an out and back down Dot Ave towards Lower Mills, turning around in front of the Carney Hospital. Registerbit.ly/dotday5

Save the Date – Bunny Hop

On Saturday, April 27th, the Neponset River Watershed Association is hosting a special event from 1pm-3pm at Pope John Paul II Park (Hallet Street entrance).  Enjoy free music, games, activities, tractors, candy and appearance by the Spring Bunny!
