At about 2:00 PM, on Thursday, March 7, 2024, officers assigned to District C-11 (Dorchester) arrested a 14-year-old juvenile male, a 15-year-old juvenile male, and a 16-year-old juvenile male on firearm and armed robbery charges.
Officers responded to the area of 157 Washington Street for a report of an armed robbery with a firearm. Officers were provided a description of three suspects and located the suspects on the fourth floor. As officers approached the suspects, they immediately fled and a foot pursuit ensued.
Two of the suspects were stopped leaving the rear of the building, and the third suspect was stopped a short distance away. Officers retraced the flight path of the suspects and recovered a firearm. The firearm was later determined to be a SCCY CPx2 with one round in the chamber and nine rounds in the magazine.
All three juveniles were placed under arrest and charged with delinquent to wit; unlawful possession of a firearm, delinquent to wit; unlawful possession of ammunition, and delinquent to wit; armed robbery. All three suspects are expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
