BFD responded to a report of the fire at 25 Train Street in Dorchester on Tuesday morning. At approximately 8:30 am, a call came in for a structure fire. Upon arrival, smoke was showing from the rear of the building. Heavy fire was visible third floor of the multi-family home. A second alarm was ordered. Fire spread to the attic, and five lines were actively working to contain it.
Firefighters were able to knock down the heavy fire. The scene is still active. More to follow.
