14-Year-Old Arrested with a Loaded Firearm in Dorchester

On Sunday, July 6, 2025, officers assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) arrested a 14-year-old Juvenile Male on firearm related charges.
At about 1:10 AM, officers responded to the area of 125 Alexander Street for a loud party call. As officers were clearing the party, they observed a group of five individuals congregating outside of the address. An individual was seen clutching his waistband, and turning his body away from officers. The individual then proceeded to walk towards the front stairs.
Officers observed what appeared to be a bulge in the middle of the suspect’s waistband. The suspect was stopped before entering the building and a pat frisk was conducted. Officers quickly recovered a firearm from the suspect’s waistband. The firearm was processed by Detectives and determined to have one round in the chamber and nine rounds in the magazine.
The 14-year-old Juvenile Male was placed under arrest and is expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court for the following offenses:
– Delinquent to wit; Carrying a Firearm without a License
– Delinquent to wit, Carrying a Loaded Firearm without a License
– Delinquent to wit, Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card

It’s a shame because these young kids are bunch of cowards. They need weapons instead of a good ole fist fight. Parents need to do better with their children. Or they should be held accountable for people getting injured and killed by guns that they possess.
