American Provisions, the wildly popular specialty cheese, meat and grocery shop located in Southie, is expanding and opening its second location in Dot very soon and we can’t wait! Here are 5 Things to Expect from American Provisions:
Platters of Meat and Cheese: Perfect for entertaining – American Provision will create a perfect platter to wow the crowd. Featuring local and imported artisan cheeses, salamis, prosciutto, garnished with roasted red peppers, olives, sweet peppadews, roasted tomatoes, pickled asparagus, and artichokes!
Lunch Hot Spot: Piled high with the freshest ingredients, American Provisions is sure to be hot spot for lunch thanks to their sandwiches! You can check out their Southie menu here to get a taste but the Dot location will have a slightly different variation. They will also offer fresh salads and season soups! Thanks to their larger kitchen in Dot, will be offering prepared foods too and an extended catering menu!
Beer & Wine: Don’t expect American Provision to feature regular, mainstream beers and wines! Instead, they put every effort into stocking the most local, hand-crafted, honest and interesting beers and wines!
Tastings, events & classes: In addition to American Provisions’ weekly beer and wine tastings, they’ll be hosting special events and even classes at this new location!

American Provisions hopes to open its doors end of January/early February. They will be located inside the new Treadmark building located at 1971-1977 Dorchester Ave.
