One step closer – EnRoot (might be the best name ever for a cannabis delivery service)
Universal Hub is reporting that the Zoning Board of Appeal approved plans to turn a run down building on Blue Hill Ave into a cannabis home-delivery service.
This new business will be conveniently located down the street from Pure Oasis – a cannabis shop. Next step will be approval from the state Cannabis Control Commission in order for EnRoot to open.
According to Universal Hub, EnRoot’s owners, Brian and Joanne Keith, must work with BPDA planners to develop an exterior design that doesn’t make the building simply look like “a fortress” but more or a neighborhood shopping building exterior.
At-large City Councilor Ruthzee Louijeune and state Rep. Liz Miranda (5th Suffolk) offered their support for the new Dorchester business.
There was some local opposition from neighborhood leaders.
