Universal Hub is reporting that City of Boston’s Zoning Board of Appeals approved a plan to transform part of an old movie theater in Fields Corner for gallery space, art classes and dance studios.
The 5,000-square-foot space on Dot Ave. has been vacant since the 1970’s . The mayor’s office and City Councilors Andrea Campbell, Frank Baker and Annissa Esaibi George supported the proposal. Field Corner Civic Association and Fields Corner Main Streets also expressed their approval for the project.
