A hot pursuit starting with a shooting in Somerville ends in Dorchester with two people taken into custody by Massachusetts State Police on Savin Hill Ave on Wednesday.
State troopers spotted a 2017 Hyundai Sonata wanted in connection with an alleged shooting in Somerville. The vehicle was stopped on Savin Hill Ave by both BPD and state troopers. A 27 year-old male from Leominster was placed into custody without incident and transported to the State Police Barracks in South Boston. A 33 year-old female – also in the car – was taken in a separate cruiser to the South Boston barracks as well.
WCVB5 is reporting ,the male in custody was booked on a kidnapping charge by state police before being transported to the Somerville Police Department.
