Fill the Hockey Bag
Adopt a Platoon Southie Style has organized a care package drive with the Dorchester Youth Hockey in the neighborhood at the Devine Rink in Dorchester. Drop off sessions will take place on Saturday, September 28th, from 11:30 am-2 pm at the Skate Shop. Consider donating: sunblock, personal hygiene products, cards, letters, stationery, cookies, granola bars, dried fruit, nuts, mints, gum, baby wipes, black socks, foot powder, powdered drink mixes, and chips! Let’s show our troops some love!
Pour Art: Make Your own Coasters at The Local Hand
Enjoy a Pour Art workshop with Rahim is this Sunday at The Local Hand Rahim is well-known for his signature paint pouring. In this workshop, he’ll demonstrate 3 different techniques, share his tricks, and guide you through making your very own set of coasters. Each participant will be able to make 4 ceramic coasters, and receive a free magnet with Rahim’s original artwork. $50 per person. All supplies + refreshments included. You can register here!
